This is the second most asked question potential customers ask.
- Melteca: A kitchen with melamine panels takes 4 weeks to manufacture but depending on workloads and the availability of materials from suppliers, we have made them ready for installation within a week or two.
- Lacquered: A lacquered kitchen which needs panels to be sanded and lacquered takes up to 5-6 weeks to manufacture, and lacquer] especially in colder weather when paint takes longer to dry.
- Thermoform or Veneer: A kitchen with thermoform, or veneer panels takes the same as a lacquered kitchen to manufacture – 5-6 weeks due to the need to custom manufacture thermoform panels and to allow for a clear finish to be applied to veneer panels.
Installation
Your new kitchen will be delivered the day before installation is commenced.
Installation typically takes 1-3 days depending on the kitchen size.
Unless a laminate benchtop in being installed (when the installer will install it with the cabinetry), a benchtop template is undertaken, to ensure a perfect fit, which takes around 2 weeks to manufacture and install If required a splashback will need templating and to be installed after the benchtop (unless it is supplied with the benchtop) A plumber then will need to reconnect the water and waste from the sink(s) and appliances with an electrician to connect the appliances.
